At The Beak Boutique, we want you to love every purchase. Please read our policy carefully before ordering.
Our Standard Policy
Due to the nature of our business, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. We encourage you to review product descriptions, dimensions, and images carefully before purchasing.
When We Will Offer a Remedy
In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a remedy if your item:
- Arrives damaged or defective
- Is significantly different from the product description or images
- Does not do what it is supposed to do
In these cases, we will offer your choice of a full refund, replacement, or store credit.
How to Request a Refund or Replacement
- Email us at thebeakboutiqueshop@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order
- Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging
- We will assess your claim within 3 business days and advise next steps — a physical return may not be required
Please do not return items without contacting us first — unsolicited returns cannot be processed.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, funds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear.
Items We Cannot Refund
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper care
- Items returned without prior approval
- Orders where an incorrect address was provided at checkout
- Perishable items such as bird food or treats (unless faulty or not as described)
Discounts & Sale Items
Discounted and sale items are still covered under Australian Consumer Law for major faults. Please contact us if you have a concern about a discounted item.
Late or Missing Deliveries
If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at thebeakboutiqueshop@gmail.com. We will investigate with our supplier and, where applicable, reship or refund your order.
